You donвЂ™t need an award to tell you that you are вЂњthe Best Coach, Speaker, Teacher, Salesperson, and/or _.вЂќ Those types of competition come from a scarcity mindset, which put limits on how many can be вЂњthe bestвЂќ and/or reach вЂњthe top.вЂќ Those types of competition vibrate at a lower level of energy, вЂњI WIN, you lose.вЂќ At a higher level of energy, we realize that вЂњWINNING and losing are illusionsвЂќ.ДЄs unnecessary as a well is to a village on the banks of a river, so unnecessary are all competitions/awards/honors to someone who has seen the Truth within, вЂњI AM WHOLE, COMPLETE, PERFECT, MASTERFUL, the BEST. Too often, we buy into the message of our society that вЂњYOU must COMPETE to be COMPLETE!вЂќ You are complete! Let me say that one more time, вЂњYOU are complete!вЂќ You are more than what you accomplish. The good news this morning is that YOU are in the game! You are on the team! You donвЂ™t need the approval of anyone to вЂњPLAY the GAME!вЂќ You are whole! You are enough! You donвЂ™t have to sit on the sideline any longer. We are no longer standing against a fence in the playground of elementary school waiting to be selected for a team. Relax, My Sweet Friend, YouвЂ™re In the Game! We long to hear those words from the вЂњGame Master,вЂќ or Team Captain, вЂњWelcome to the game!вЂќ We long to hear the coach say, вЂњWelcome to the team.вЂќ Some of us have experienced that feeling of being вЂњthe last one chosen for the team.вЂќ Some of us have been in those вЂњtribal council meetingsвЂќ and felt the disappointment when we were вЂњvoted off the island.вЂќ IвЂ™m curious, where do you look for your approval, love, significance? In вЂњthe Game of Life,вЂќ we all run around with our вЂњgame cardsвЂќ searching for the вЂњGame MasterвЂќ to stamp вЂњour cardвЂќ and recognize our abilities, skills, and talents to be a player in the game. We want to be selected, picked or nominated for the game, the team, or the competition.

We long for someone, or something, outside ourselves to say, вЂњI love you! YouвЂ™re a winner! YouвЂ™re important! YouвЂ™re significant! YouвЂ™re appreciated! YouвЂ™re valued! You matter!
